Job Description

The Software Administrator administers and implements the key technical components of the solution to help reduce the overall technical risk by uncovering configuration issues during the application life-cycle. Shares implementation best practices and recommends solution alternatives. Hands-on role that requires technical expertise and abilities with and related cloud technologies. This position will play a key role in terms of both hands-on administration to deliver application solutions that adhere to industry standard best practices.

Job Tasks: 

  • Work with developers on architecture, implementation and data migration strategies.
  • Responsible for resolving production support issues and responding to systems enhancement requests
  • Provide input to SFDC development and administration teams regarding solution gaps and desired enhancements.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to other SFDC Administration team members and Business Systems Analysts.
  • Responsible for successfully implementing and managing the integration of with other systems and custom extensions.
  • Work with Configuration Management Team to deploy solutions to QA and Production environments
  • Delivery of deployment documentation
  • Enforces standards, guidelines and design patterns for applications based on industry best practices.

Minimum Education/Certifications: 

  • BS degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS or equivalent.

Minimum Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership position.
  • 2+ years of experience with SFDC in an administration capacity.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an agile/scrum and test driven development environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Advanced Certified Administrator certifications highly preferred
