Job Description

    • Development of web site / web site applications (desktop/mobile) under the direction and guidance of the Solution Delivery Manager. • Closely work with Business Analyst and follow functional specifications to meet project requirements. • Manage components of project workplans related to development, technical documentation, and unit testing. • Ability to provide work effort estimates for the technical implementation of a project  • Write technical specifications / architecture documents • Work with the QA team to ensure testability and maintainability of selected designs and technologies • Evaluation, recommend, and select fundamental technologies, and third-party products • If necessary, able to take on a tech lead role managing several developers working on the same project.
    • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft .Net Framework • Experience developing public facing websites (both desktop/mobile and/or responsive) • Minimum of 5 years experience with a broad range of web site and web application technologies (ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, Javascript/jQuery/AJAX/JSON, CSS/Bootstrap, SOAP, REST, WebAPI) • Strong C# skills • Minimum of 5 years experience with MS SQL • Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures and algorithms • Experience working with Mercurial or similar source control tool. • Familiarity with creative marketing concepts desired; online marketing campaigns, promotions, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). • Ability to work in a team environment with developers, project managers, business analyst, and other stakeholders, meeting deadlines under tight time constraints • Thorough understanding of software development life cycle • Experience with agile development • Familiarity with JIRA, Google Analytics, Salesforce and/or Ektron a huge plus. • Good oral and written communication skill
