Job Description

Please note:  This is a long-term consultant opportunity.

The Organization Change Management Consultant will play a key role on our systems integration and execution team, partnering with operations, IT and our training teams, ensuring the change initiatives meet overall project objectives by maximizing team member adoption and usage.

This person will focus on the people side of change – changes to business processes, departmental collaboration, training and education, stakeholder management, and global communication.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing an overall change management strategy around complex sales/recruitment business processes by utilizing proven methodologies and techniques.
  • Managing numerous project deliverables across multiple areas of client organization to ensure completion on time and within budget.
  • Conducting organizational needs assessments, stakeholder analysis, document business processes, facilitate development of "to be" blueprint and utilize proven analytical tools readiness assessments, focus groups, impact assessments and metrics.
  • Designing and delivering communication plans including identification and definition of methods and channels in order to drive the correct behavioral and organizational changes.

The Organization Change Management Consultant will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact team members in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

While the OCM Consultant does not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through various channels, departments and team members in the organization to succeed.

The OCM Consultant will act as a coach for leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The OCM Consultant may also provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 8 - 10 years’ experience in executing large-scale initiatives including but not limited to organizational change, business process management, systems implementations/conversions, enterprise risk, and operational excellence.
  • Experience working on enterprise-wide initiatives for complex organizations.
  • Strong grounding in at least one widely used program/project management and change management methodology or framework and an ability to be flexible and adapt to new methodologies.
  • Responsible for designing and editing communication and maintaining brand standards for training material in PowerPoint and Word, and posting to SharePoint and other modes
  • Access to a wide range of program/project management and change management tools and templates.
  • Exceptional project and change management skills in scoping, designing and delivering business and IT transformational activities
  • Strong strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills - including identifying and authoring changes to related business processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience, and then plan and execute solutions that are of recognizable value to the business.
  • Executive presence with excellent communications, listening and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels.
  • OCM Communications, Writing & Editing in PPT and Word.  Maintaining brand standards.
  • Experience in leading and supporting transformational activities for large scale IT systems implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree required
